Welcome to A CAPS Experience

On behalf of the CAPS Board, we are delighted to welcome you to A CAPS Experience in Cambridge. We look forward to spending this time together and introducing you to the collegial, thoughtful, and engaging community that is at the heart of CAPS.

This three-day weekend is an opportunity to experience the Center for Advanced Psychoanalytic Studies (CAPS) firsthand—to meet and work with colleagues from across the country, participate in the CAPS group experience, and learn more about the organization and the possibility of becoming part of the CAPS community. We hope the weekend will be both stimulating and enjoyable, and that you leave with a deeper sense of what makes CAPS unique.

Room Block

A block of 10 Standard Queen rooms per night has been reserved for A CAPS Experience participants at a special group rate.

Group Rate

$289.88 per night, including 15.95% tax

The room block covers the following nights:

Saturday, November 7, 2026

Check-in: 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 6
Check-out: 12:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8

The room block will be held until October 9, 2026. After this date, any remaining rooms will be released back into the hotel's public inventory.

Please note that the group rate is subject to the availability of rooms within the CAPS room block. The hotel contract does not specify a separate rate-guarantee policy beyond the October 9 release date.

Cancellation Policy

Group reservations may be modified or cancelled up to 25 days prior to the 3:00 p.m. arrival time on November 6, 2026. Reservations cancelled before that time will forfeit the deposit. Reservations modified or cancelled after that time, including no-shows and early departures, will be charged in full.

Additional Hotel Information

Parking: Valet parking is available for $28 per night per vehicle.

Hotel accommodations are not included in the $450 CAPS registration fee. Participants are responsible for their hotel charges and any personal charges during their stay.
